One-Day Tour to Turgen & Issyk — Golden Nomads, Waterfalls & Alpine Air

Turgen & Issyk Tour

The Golden Man, mountain gorges, and the crisp air of the Trans-Ili Alatau. A full-day immersive experience blending ancient history and mountain energy.

The "Golden Man" Museum

A journey into the Saka/Scythian era. You will visit the site where the primary archaeological sensation of the country was discovered in 1970 — the intact royal tomb of a young Saka prince. Thousands of golden artifacts and sacred symbols of the ancient steppe that became the national symbol of Kazakhstan.

Turgen Gorge & Bear Waterfall

Enjoy a light trek through the coniferous forests of the Ile-Alatau National Park. We will hike to the Medvezhiy (Bear) Waterfall (30m), breathing in the purest mountain air and witnessing stunning alpine meadows.

Lake Issyk

The final chord of our journey — a turquoise lake surrounded by sheer cliffs. A perfect place for silence, contemplation, and panoramic photography against the backdrop of majestic mountain peaks.

Lunch at the Famous "Annushka"

A legendary guesthouse in Issyk known for its warm, home-like atmosphere. You can savor fresh local trout, succulent shashlik (kebabs), and genuine Kazakh hospitality.

Alternative Options

Our program is flexible: upon request, we can substitute the museum with a visit to an ostrich farm or local eco-farms. We tailor the route to your interests.
